The liner was designed to be worn with the unlined belted trench coat. The pairing makes for an insulated winter coat. Alternatively, it can be worn by itself for mild winter days. The AW24/25 liners are made from old up-cycled military blankets from the USA, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Poland, etc., manufactured between the 50s and the 90s. This design was created as an ode to one of our favorite military garments, transformed to fit within the Newspeak vocabulary.

Size & fit

The model is 189 cm (6.2ft) tall and wears size M.

Please note that our clothing is meant to be worn oversized. Therefore the most important measurements for you to take into account is the arm length when it comes to coats, shirts and tops. Check out our size guide for the precise measurements.

Fabric & care

These upcycled vintage army blankets originate from U.S., Dutch, and Swiss military stocks. Made from pure wool, each blanket is heavy and unique.

We preserve the original tags to honor the heritage and story of each piece. For example, the Dutch army commissioned the same design across decades and factories, resulting in varied weights, weaves, and yarns.

While the red and white stripe remains consistent, no two are exactly alike. Each blanket brings its own story into the garments we create.

Shipping & returns

We offer free worldwide standard shipping and free returns within 14 days of receiving the order. Taxes and duties may apply on delivery, depending on the destination country. These will not be included at checkout.

If the garment is in stock, it will be shipped within 2 working days with DHL. Made to Order garments will be manufactured by us in our atelier in The Hague within 15 working days of the order being placed.
